Welcome to Our Chapter!

Leah Olson
Chief Executive Officer
Hello, welcome to Kappa Alpha Theta-Gamma Nu!

My name is Leah Olson and I am the current president of the Gamma Nu chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta. When I first toured North Dakota State University, Greek life was a large deciding factor for me. I came to college without many friends, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to meet people. Along with the ideals of Kappa Alpha Theta, my major is also dependent upon good grades and service hours, which are important to the Greek community. I joined Kappa Alpha Theta my first semester of freshman year, and it has been my best choice in college. I have met so many amazing people that have helped me thrive.
Kappa Alpha Theta was the first Greek letter fraternity for women. There are now chapters all over the country and even several in Canada. We pride ourselves on helping women better themselves by stressing the importance of grades and offering many leadership opportunities. Our commitment to service also makes us more balanced women. Whether it’s planning events for our philanthropy, Court Appointed Special Advocates, serving at the Kiwanis pancake feed, or helping the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center, we love giving back to the community.

Our chapter is constantly improving. Many new women are joining every semester and we are even planning a new fall philanthropy event. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our organization that we are so proud of. I couldn’t be happier or more honored to lead such an amazing, talented group of women.

Theta Love and Mine,

Leah Olson
